Anissa's Creative Writing Exploration and Dramatic Play (ages 8-18 - students grouped by age)
This class is designed to captivate the curiosity of even the most reluctant writers by incorporating a variety of literary forms, such as theatrical play and play writing, skits, short stories, engaging story starter games and much, much more! The first couple of classes the instructor will be bringing an assortment of activities for the class to try out. This will allow the program to be geared to the general interests of the students.
This student centered class is full of surprises with the intent of the instructor to leave the students feeling amazed at what they have accomplished by the end of the program. This is an 8 week course of fun, imagination, reading, writing and creative play. Sometimes students create their own playwright and perform on the last day, or create their own short stories.
Tell me a Story: A Listening Ear... (ages 5-11)
This class is designed to give kids an opportunity to practice reading aloud in a supportive, nurturing environment. Whether our child is above average and loves to share his/her beautiful reading with others, or if he/she is shy and needs a little encouragement, this is a great way to expose your child to the wonderful world of words! Anissa hopes you will embark with us on this magical journey and watch your child grow and develop as a reader and a social being.
The Instructor: Anissa Pesce Zucker is an experienced teacher and enthusiastic for the creative play and multiple intelligence learning styles. She is also a certified Elementary Educator (K-6) & Remedial Reading Specialist (g.1-12) who works at Canton High School as the Language Arts Consultant.
