The Farmington Valley Recreational Swim Team ("FVRST") sponsored by the Recreation Departments of Avon, Burlington, Canton, Farmington and Simsbury are forming swim teams for youth ages 6 through 17 (under 18 as of 12/31/15). The practice location will be at the Farmington Farms Tennis & Athletic Club at 94 Brickyard Road in Farmington.
Minimum requirements are as follows:
• Ability to swim 25 yards
• May not be a member of U.S.S. Swimmers or another swim team
• Proficiency in two strokes:
Breaststroke, Freestyle, Backstroke, and Butterfly
• Must attend 2 or the 3 scheduled practices per week
• Must attend 3 or more Meets to be eligible for the Championships
